Technology Announces Exclusive Licensing Transaction of
Com21 DOCSIS Cable Modem Technology
to CastleNet Technology
Taipei, Taiwan (July 25, 2003) – Com21, Inc and CastleNet TecCastleNet Technology, Inc. hnology
Corp. today announced it has completed a transaction agreement with Com21 (OTCBB: CMTO) for all licenses of the company’s based
at City of Industry, CA jointly announce today the completion
of transaction agreement in Data Cable Modem business.
Com21 hasData Cable Modem technology
agreed today the transaction of its Data, including the DOCSISTM
(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) and EuroDOCSIS product line. Under the terms of the agreement, Modem assets
to CastleNet Technology Corp in an
amount not to be disclosed here.
The agreement includes all the DOCSIS and EuroDOCSIS Data Cable Modem
products that Com21 is selling
today.
CastleNet will
continue to sell the
cable modems products under the Com21’s
brand throughoutin
North America, Latin America and Europe.
CastleNet will also carry and. The Data Cable Modem
product, after this date, will be supplied and carried by CastleNet support the product line with Technology thru her service
and engineering teams
in California, Costa Rica, Paris and Taiwan. The
amount of the
transaction was not disclosed.

has begun its Data Cable Modem certification in Cable Labs since 2000. After the DOCSIS 2.0 products approved
in CW#25, we are developing Cable Home and Residential Gateway products to meet
