are an embedded Bluetooth module for
Notebook PC. The Bluetooth function
is based on the latest single chip,
which is fully compliant with Bluetooth
2.1 specification plus EDR. It has good
RF performance, lowest power consumption,
piconet and scatternet capability. The
interface is HCI USB compliant with
USB fully speed.
Touch
sensing boards

Module
The V.92/V.90
56K module is an integrated direct access
arrangement (DAA) that provides a programmable
line interface to meet global telephone
line requirements. It eliminates the
need for an AFE, an isolation transformer,
relays, opto-isolators, and a 2-wire
to 4-wire hybrid. It dramatically reduces
the number of discrete components and
cost required to achieve compliance
with international regulatory requirements.
MDC complies with MDC 1.5 specification.
Fingerprint
Module
Biometrics
is now the mainstream method for personal
identification because of the un-duplicable
character of human fingerprints. Fingerprint
verification is one of the most mature
and widely used security verification
methods due to its accuracy, stability,
and user friendliness. Thus, more and
more Notebook PCs had implemented the
Fingerprint verification function. The
Fingerprint module will be custom designed
by CastleNet for ODM Notebook.
TV
Tuner Module
The MiniCard
TV tuner module is bundled on the Notebook
/ Netbook PC to enable watch and record
the TV programs, including analog TV
and digital TV (SD/HD) broadcasts. There
are different digital TV standards in
the world, including DVB-T in Europe,
ATSC in U.S., ISDB-T in Japan, and DMB-TH,
CMMB in China.
